Responsibilities
E2E Strategy & Execution: Own the end-to-end testing lifecycle. Design and implement complex test scenarios that simulate real-world user behavior across our entire product suite.
Shift-Left Quality: Promote a "shift-left" mindset by collaborating with Product and Engineering early in the SDLC to identify risks during the design and requirement phases.
CI/CD Integration: Ensure automated suites are a reliable "green light" in our GitLab CI pipelines. Work with DevOps to manage test environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Defect Leadership: Beyond logging bugs, you will drive their resolution, helping the team prioritize issues based on product impact and technical risk.
API & Backend Verification: Maintain and expand automated tests for our HTTP APIs (Node.js/Mocha) and ensure data integrity.
Playwright Expert: Build, maintain, and scale our UI automation framework using Playwright and TypeScript. With working closely with developers and DevOps, optimize test execution for speed, reliability, and coverage.
Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation, with significant recent experience using Playwright and TypeScript/Node.js.
E2E Specialist: Proven track record of designing tests that cover complex product workflows, not just isolated features.
Infrastructure Knowledge: Familiarity with Docker and the ability to troubleshoot issues within a containerized environment.
Pipeline Experience: Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and hands-on experience integrating tests into GitLab CI or similar tools.
Nice to Have
Experience with Allure TestOps or similar tools
Experience with WireMock or Mountebank
