QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of high-availability, API-driven applications through effective testing strategies and automation.

Hybrid role: Madrid, Spain. This position requires visiting an office 3 times per week.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute automated and manual tests for high-availability, API-enabled applications

Validate application functionality, performance, and reliability within complex environments

Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts

Collaborate with development teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects

Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve product quality

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies

Requirements:

Must have:

Strong proficiency in Java 17 (or higher) with Spring Boot

Hands-on experience with Robot Framework for test automation

Experience working with Apache Tomcat

Strong critical thinking and logical problem-solving skills.

Nice to have:

Experience with NoSQL databases

Knowledge of API testing tools and methodologies

Familiarity with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.

Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Passion for quality assurance and continuous improvement

Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
