Job Title – QA Automation Engineer
Location – Ireland, Dublin
This role is responsible for ensuring the quality, performance, and reliability of Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) applications through a combination of manual and automated testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to validate new features and support scalable, secure product development. The position plays a key role in delivering high-quality releases by identifying defects, improving test coverage, and contributing to continuous integration practices.
What you'll be doing:
• Design, create and execute manual and automated test plans and scripts to test the functionality and performance of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) sites
• Solving complex business problems while ensuring the product is highly scalable, secure, and performant
• In depth, functional, regression, and performance testing of new or enhanced features in the application.
• Work in an agile and highly collaborative environment with our globally distributed engineering teams, architecture, product management, quality assurance, and operations.
• Keen on delivering high quality and low to zero defect releases
• Responsible to analyze, report, and monitor software defects and performs re-testing
• Share knowledge with the team through training, defect documentation and by facilitating meetings
• Exposure on various Test Automation Frameworks.
• Develop and execute Automated testing scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, Applitools, Cucumber, etc.
• Experience in setting up Jenkins and configuring it with Maven to aid Continuous Integration/Development
What we're looking for:
• BSc/MSc or equivalent in Computer Science or related field. You must show a combination of technical skills, and a strong product development background.
• 3+ years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer
• 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and executing test plans and test scripts
• 3+ years of experience in Adobe Experience Manager and related Adobe products.
• At least 2 years of test automation experience on Java and Selenium
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experienced in testing and supporting Web and Mobile applications
• Responsible for creating an end-to-end test plan and executing the test cases.
• Technical ability to triage issues and defects in the project JIRA board.
• Having experience in Web Applications (REST APIs), Postman, knowledge of XML, X-path.
Preferred Qualities
• Understanding of the Gaming industry is a plus
• Knowledge of AEM, CRXDE or another comparable CMS tool
• Proficiency in Test Case and Defect Management tools, such as JIRA, Wrike, QTest and Github
• Organized self-starter with drive and commitment
• Demonstrable ability to prioritize work and manage multiple demands
• Passionate about gaming and video game culture
