As a QA Automation Engineer II, you will: 

• Lead the design, development, and execution of test automation frameworks using Playwright for web and Appium for mobile platforms.
• Develop and maintain scalable, reusable, automated test scripts to ensure quality and reliability across all applications.
• Drive the adoption and implementation of new testing strategies, tools, and techniques to improve product quality.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for test cases, test scripts, and automated test environments.
• Analyze testing results, identify potential issues, and collaborate with development teams to suggest improvements and optimizations.
• Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing expertise and leadership in automation testing practices.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and efficiency of test automation systems in a continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) environment.
• Collaborate with the development team, ensuring 4 hours of overlap with Pacific Time for effective communication.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing.
• Expertise in agile development practices and Scrum methodologies.
• In-depth understanding of various testing methodologies including regression, functional, performance, and security testing.
• Proficiency with Playwright (Framework development from Scratch), Appium (Framework development from Scratch), Cypress, Selenium as well as experience with API testing.
• Strong skills in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Java, and TypeScript (nice-to-have).
• Extensive experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI (nice-to-have).
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms and virtualized test environments (AWS, Azure, Docker) (nice-to-have).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
