QA Automation Engineer – C# – Embedded Systems

About the position

Can you imagine automating tests for embedded systems running on Linux and real hardware?

Join our expert team to work on a security and access control software environment, contributing to the migration from manual test cases to a robust automation framework.
You will apply your knowledge of C#, NUnit, Linux, and embedded systems to ensure software quality through automated testing on real hardware.

With people. Besides your team and manager, you will have several support figures like a godparent, who will help you with the practical and administrative aspects of daily life during your first 6 months.

And the second most important person after you, your mentor, who will guide you through your entire onboarding and career at ERNI. You will have regular 1:1 meetings with them, and recurrently, you will work on your development plan to define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals.

What you will bring

More than 5 years of experience in QA with a strong focus on test automation
Solid experience developing automated tests with C# and NUnit
Hands-on experience working with embedded systems on Linux and Windows
Practical knowledge of hardware testing, including mounting, wiring, and physical validation
Ability to transform manual test cases into automated test suites

You will be responsible for automating existing manual test cases and developing and maintaining automated testing frameworks using C# and NUnit. Executing tests on real hardware environments and collaborating closely with development teams to integrate automated testing into the delivery workflow while ensuring software quality and reliability.

Our model is hybrid: we usually go to the office 2 days a week, though this depends on the project and team, but we love seeing each other’s faces; the best stories always happen in the office!
