Role: QA Automation Engineer

Location: Bath

Salary: upto £45,000

Chapman Tate are working with an ambitious company looking for a QA Automation Engineer. The company have a wide variety of customers, some of whom are prominent organisations that offer solution to global companies based across Europe and North America.

Job Description:

• You will need to deploy environments to the required specification for acceptance and regression testing
• Create and maintain tests within TestRails
• Execute automated and manual tests in regression plans and report on status
• Support and advise development teams on their acceptance testing and later create automated regression plans from these test plans
• Automate test cases producing readable and commented code taking reasonable steps to re-use existing software and make new development re-usable
• Create accurate, unique defects reports with the correct level of analysis to ensure a smooth handover to development

Skills you will have:

• Python, REACT, Javascript / JSON or C++, C
• Linux (Ubuntu / Debian)
• Open source Kernel
• ZFS/ZOL
• AWS and VMWare for Cloud Platforms
• Terraform and Ansible
• Understanding of Automated Testing approaches and frameworks
• Ability to design a test strategy when required
• Experience in test plans and test cases
