Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented QA Analyst to ensure the quality and integrity of our Salesforce platform implementations. This role is a hybrid position that requires a blend of manual testing expertise and the technical ability to develop and maintain test automation scripts. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in both exploratory testing of new features and building a robust regression suite using Python and the Copado DevOps platform.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Manual Testing: Perform comprehensive manual functional, integration, UAT, and regression testing on Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and custom applications to ensure functionality meets business requirements;
• Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and robust automated test scripts using Python for our Salesforce environment;
• Automation Execution & Management: Leverage the Copado platform (including Copado Robotic Testing) to manage, execute, and track automated test execution within our CI/CD pipeline and release processes;
• Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects and issues using tools like Jira, collaborating closely with developers and business analysts to ensure timely resolution;
• Test Planning & Strategy: Assist in creating comprehensive test plans, defining test strategies, and developing detailed test cases and scenarios based on user stories and acceptance criteria;
• Collaboration: Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and ensure a seamless delivery of high-quality solutions;
• Environment & Data Management: Help manage test data and environments within Salesforce to support effective testing across various scenarios.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a background in both manual and automation testing;
• Understanding of QA methodologies, the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Agile processes.

Highly Desirable Skills

• Python for developing test automation scripts;
• Experience with Copado and Salesforce automation tools.
