You'll collaborate closely with our talented in-house team of creatives, developers, and business Monks, ensuring the seamless delivery of high-quality and accessible digital solutions for global brands. Additionally, you'll play an integral role in our client teams, strategizing for long-term success in serving our clients and upholding the highest standards of accessibility.

About the Role

• You’ll be working on a global project together with Monks in other offices. You must be fluent in English, as it’s the language used in our daily operations and client collaboration.

• As an Accessibility QA.Monk, you leverage your extensive knowledge of WCAG accessibility guidelines to execute comprehensive accessibility testing strategies and ensure product compliance. You understand how to use ARIA to create accessible web experiences and collaborate with development teams to uphold quality standards in accessibility.

• Identify and resolve complex accessibility issues and defects by conducting accessibility audits and assessments, and you review product specifications and documentation to assess accessibility impact.

• Provide expertise on inclusive design practices and accessible code.

• You’re familiar with testing websites and mobile apps to identify accessibility defects and improve the inclusive user experience. Screen readers are one of your tools of expertise; you are proficient with NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack.

• With a keen eye for aesthetics, inclusive design principles, and technical requirements, you are experienced in ensuring that every design and line of code is accessible. You help to better integrate QA into the overall production process, making sure QA methods are fine-tuned to our teams and workloads.

• You communicate our weekly results in a way that feels constructive. You master the tone of providing feedback in a great and collaborative way.

• Writing end-to-end accessibility test plans and comprehensive use cases has been a standard feat in your repertoire, covering everything from general dependencies to specific accessibility edge cases.
