Job Description

Gorilla Logic is looking for a Mid Backend Developer specializing in Python. In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining scalable backend services that support our platform. You will work closely with the engineering team to deliver reliable and high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the implementation of core backend functionality that supports daily user interactions.

Develop, maintain, and support backend services for our platform.

Use Python/Django to build and enhance REST-based microservices.

Support deployment of application components to AWS.

Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product owners to develop, test, and deploy code to production.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of ownership, testing, and continuous learning.

Assist in investigating, diagnosing, and resolving application issues.

Contribute to ongoing improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability.

Technical Requirements

3–5 years of experience in backend development with Python/Django.

Experience building and consuming REST APIs.

Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and exposure to orchestration frameworks such as ECS, EKS, AKS, GKE, or similar.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

Basic experience monitoring and debugging applications in production environments.

Understanding of Agile software development methodologies.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
