We're looking for a Python developer to join our team in San José, Costa Rica, to work on a wide range of software-related projects. The ideal candidate should have experience integrating front-end code with back-end technologies and 3rd party RESTful APIs, as well as experience with PostgresSQL and/or MongoDB. The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying and supporting applications in a production environment.

Job Description

The Bridge leverages exceptional Costa Rican engineering talent.

Mandatory
• Fluent in Python
• Must have Experience integrating front-end code with back-end technologies and 3rd party RESTful APIs
• Experience with PostgresSQL and/or MongoDB
• Experience deploying and supporting applications in production environment
• Experience with test driven development and Continuous Integration/Deployment
• Ability to work in team environment and client interfacing skills.
• Analytical skills
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Fluent in git/git flow/agile/scrum/lean methodologies

Added plus

• Experience with machine learning principles
• Desired JavaScript experience
• Microservices architecture approach
• Strong desire to learn, push the envelope, and share knowledge with others.
• An eye for process flows

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of work. We don't care you have a degree, we care you know how to write good quality code.
• At least 3 years of experience with software development.
