Job Description

Python Developer – Infrastructure Automation | Remote

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based automation scripts and services
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code tools
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, and Platform Engineering teams to enhance system reliability and scalability
• Support and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and refactor existing automation workflows
• Contribute to infrastructure standards, security enhancements, and best practices

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience
• 2–3 years of experience in infrastructure automation
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Solid knowledge of Linux systems, networking, and system fundamentals
• Experience working in DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering environments

Nice to Have

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Exposure to CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Additional scripting experience (Bash/Shell)
