Purchasing Specialist (m/f/d)

We are smartmicro, the leading specialist in high-performance automotive and traffic radar- and radar/camera hybrid sensor technology. We design, develop and manufacture high-tech sensors for autonomous driving, intelligent traffic infrastructure and smart cities. We are looking for an organized employee for our purchasing department.

Your Tasks:
• You are responsible for determining requirements and procurement planning
• This includes coordinating and monitoring delivery dates/quantities
• You obtain quotations and evaluate them regarding operational requirements
• You also select suitable suppliers with whom you negotiate prices and conditions
• You review, develop and implement the company's procurement strategy to ensure a smooth purchasing process
• This includes identifying potential savings throughout the supply chain

Your Strengths:
• Completed commercial training, studies in the field of business administration (BWL) or similar qualification 
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in technical purchasing
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office and already have experience with ERP systems 
• You are characterized by a structured and independent way of working 
• You have a convincing personality with good negotiating skills
• Fluent German and good English skills are required
