Job Description
We are looking for a Purchasing Assistant (Contract Role) to support the procurement and service operations team, with a strong focus on purchase order (PO) processing, documentation, and coordination. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling administrative tasks in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Employment Type: Contract role (5 months) with potential for extension based on performance and business needs.
Location: On-site – Mapletree Business City (Nearest MRT: Labrador Park, SG)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Requirements:
Responsibilities
• Assist in creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders (POs).
• Ensure all PO documentation is accurate, complete, and properly filed.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to follow up on PO status and delivery timelines.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate procurement and service records.
• Support the preparation of reports and documentation related to purchasing and service operations.
• Handle basic vendor or internal queries related to orders and documentation.
• Maintain organized filing systems for procurement records and service reports.
• Provide general administrative support to the procurement and service teams.
Requirements
• At least 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative roles.
• Exposure to or experience with purchase order (PO) processing is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Good communication skills in written and spoken English.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through on timelines.
