• Develop and implement purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and secure favorable terms
• Analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain dynamics to make informed purchasing decisions
• Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and meet their purchasing needs
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and vendor performance
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards
• Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
• Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and vendors
• Manage and mentor the purchasing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
