We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Purchase Executive to join our procurement team. This is an entry-level opportunity ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience who are eager to build a career in purchasing and supply chain management. The role involves supporting procurement operations, vendor coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials required for production and business operations.

Exposure or interest in transformer manufacturing will be an added advantage, as the role may involve dealing with industry-specific components, raw materials, and vendors.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing and procurement of raw materials, components, and services as per company requirements
• Support the purchase team in preparing purchase orders, maintaining records, and tracking order status
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, negotiations (basic level), and delivery timelines
• Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers to avoid delays and maintain continuity of supply
• Maintain accurate documentation of purchase transactions, invoices, and vendor details
• Compare vendor quotations and help identify cost-effective purchasing options
• Work closely with internal departments such as production, stores, and finance to understand material requirements
• Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels
• Support in vendor onboarding and maintaining healthy supplier relationships
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
• Strong interest in procurement, supply chain, or operations
• Basic understanding of purchasing processes and vendor management
• Good communication and negotiation skills (basic level for freshers)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment

Good to Have Skills

• Exposure to transformer manufacturing or electrical equipment industry
• Basic knowledge of materials used in transformer production (e.g., copper, core steel, insulation materials)
• Internship or project experience related to procurement or supply chain
