• Accountable for the day-to-day administration and operation of all aspects in Real Estate Management• Review and abstract a large volume of lease related documents, extracting critical information and entering into the Corporate’s property management system as well as ensuring the integrity of the lease related data• Thorough knowledge of general legal matters relating to real estate property including leases/license agreements, amendments, extensions/renewals and surrender/termination agreements• Proficiency in interpretation of lease clauses• Generate and post monthly rent rolls• Provide overall effective lease interpretation and guidance to the leasing, operations and property accounting groups relating to landlord and tenant rights and obligations• Monitor critical dates such as lease expiry, and options to renew to assist leasing in ensuring timely and accurate preparation of documents• Perform tracking activities with respect to possession dates, fixturing periods and commencement dates in our central lease deal tracker• Prepare a CAM/Tax Recovery checklist for all new leases• Inform property accounting, operations, and other required departments/personnel of completed lease documentation setup and any action required by those departments• Assist with the acquisition and disposition of properties as it relates to gathering, assembling, and logging of due diligence information• Establish and maintain professional working relationships with all Corporate Associates, landlords, tenants and consultants• Provide ad hoc reports and participate in ad hoc projects as required• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint (preferably advanced skills in excel)• Ability to multi task and work at a fast pace• Able to identify issues/problems and implement solutions/escalate matter as necessary• Excellent planning and organizational skills, ability to pay close attention to detail and accuracy
• Graduate with 3 to 5 years’ experience in the real estate sector specializing in lease administration with an aptitude for property accounting
