Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End P2P Ownership
• Own complete P2P lifecycle: Vendor Master, Invoice Processing, 2/3-Way Matching, Exception Handling, Payments, and Reconciliations
• Ensure adherence to financial controls, audit requirements, and SOX compliance• Drive consistent SLA, TAT, accuracy, and cost-to-serve improvements
2. Client & Stakeholder Management• Act as primary P2P escalation point for Finance, Accounting, and Operations leaders
• Lead QBRs, MBRs, and governance forums, presenting insights, trends, and corrective action plans
• Translate client business needs into execution-ready operating models
3. Team Leadership & Workforce Management
• Lead multi-location P2P teams (India / Philippines as applicable)• Drive productivity, utilization, cross-skilling, and succession planning
• Build a strong performance culture with clear KPIs, coaching, and accountability
4. Transformation, Automation & Analytics• Identify automation opportunities across invoice ingestion, OCR, duplicate detection, tolerance checks, and payment controls etc
• Partner with WNS Digital / Automation teams to deploy RPA, analytics, and workflow optimization
• Build dashboards and MIS with actionable insights (aging, exception root causes, vendor behavior)
5. Risk, Compliance & Controls• Ensure zero tolerance for control breaches, duplicate payments, or audit failures• Lead internal/external audits and closure of observations• Strengthen vendor compliance, documentation, and approval governance
6. Financial & Commercial Ownership• Own cost, productivity, and margin targets for the client's P2P scope
• Support pricing discussions, scope changes, and future growth opportunities
• Drive continuous value articulation for client (beyond BAU delivery)

Required Experience & Qualifications
• 12–15+ years of experience in Procure to Pay / Accounts Payable operations
• 7+ years in a senior people management role (Manager / Senior Manager / Group Manager)
• Strong experience in BPO / Shared Services environment• Proven experience managing US-based clients, preferably in Transportation, Logistics, or Freight
• Hands-on exposure to ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc.)
• Strong understanding of SOX, audit controls, and financial compliance
• Experience in process transformation, automation, or digital enablement
