Are you a heavyweight hospitality leader with the grit and polish to run an icon? The Morrison Hotel is searching for its next Publican, a standout operator ready to take the reins of one of Brisbane's most respected steakhouse and sports destinations.
The Morrison isn’t just a hotel; it’s a landmark. Known for serving some of the best steaks in the city and being the spiritual home of sports fans, it requires a leader who is as comfortable talking premium wagyu as they are managing a high-stakes gaming room and a packed front bar. We need a REAL Publican, someone with the presence to own the room and the commercial brain to keep a flagship operation at the top of its game.
A day in the life of a Publican:
• You know the locals by name, they reckon you’re one of their own, all while keeping a sharp eye on the P&L.
• You run the place like it’s your own modern-day home, keeping things safe, smooth, and compliant.
• You're the pillar of the local community and the driving force behind a high-performing team.
• You put out fires before anyone even notices there was smoke.
• You bring the vibe, the service, and the smiles – every shift, every day.
Inherent requirements:
• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• Hold current industry RSA/RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager qualifications as per state requirements
