About the Pub:

The Savvy Squire has arrived on the coast, bringing Australia’s first brewer to Mooloolaba. James Squire was a charmer, a swindler and a savvy character indeed, and his legacy is honoured by celebrating a love of quality craft beers matched with modern pub food, made with top notch local produce.

Sitting in The Wharf Mooloolaba precinct, The Savvy Squire is home to various spaces all created to suit your mood. Our Bistro, home to our famous keg wall, is where you’ll have panoramic river views, perfect for small gatherings and The Plaza to sit on long bench tables, also suitable for large groups, to enjoy casual food with all round good times.  For more casual occasions soak up some rays with a brew in hand, and head to the Deck to watch people make their way down the boardwalk.  Our full menu is available in all areas.

It doesn’t end there! You’ll find our Beer Garden at the entrance, perfect for sipping brews on summer days or make your way to We call this our beer hub, and we think this is the perfect place to try the full range (may we recommend a tasting paddle?). And finally, the Beer Hall is the perfect place to gather the troops to catch the game.

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

You already know if this is for you. You’ve got the experience, the presence, and the pride it takes to own a pub like it’s been yours forever. You're not just running a venue - you're living the Publican life.

• Hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as per state requirements
