Public Sector Lead Germany (all genders)

To strengthen our dynamically growing Defence Team, we are currently seeking an experienced Senior Manager. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in building our Public Sector business, supporting key client projects, and actively contributing to the continued development of our practice.

Your Responsibilities
• Design and implement effective processes to ensure proposal readiness in public procurement
• Map the needs of public-sector clients to the Eraneos service portfolio
• Lead business development activities across all phases of the procurement lifecycle: pre‑bid, bid, and post‑bid
• Engage with procurement authorities throughout the bid process (e.g., post‑bid analysis)
• Establish commercially attractive and market-ready pricing models
• Support talent acquisition initiatives (identification, outreach, qualification)
• Develop and implement a delivery model tailored to Eraneos’ framework conditions for public-sector projects
• Ensure high-quality project delivery through appropriate measures
• Support consulting mandates (e.g., procurement, infrastructure, capability planning)
• Oversee ongoing projects within the Public Sector business
• Ensure delivery quality for existing engagements and maintain strong client relationships

Who you are:
In addition to being an analytical thinker with strong social and communication skills, curious, and a collaborative team player, and demonstrating a high degree of personal initiative and an entrepreneurial can-do mentality, you possess the following distinguishing qualities:
• Strong affinity for digitalization and information technology
• Excellent academic degree (Master’s, MBA, PhD)
• Strategic mindset and persuasive, open personality
• Solid understanding of core commercial processes
• Excellent knowledge of German and European public procurement, public‑sector sourcing, and procurement law
• Proven leadership capabilities
• Strong understanding of how public authorities operate
• Sound knowledge of common consulting methods and tools
• Passion for innovation and willingness to take responsibility
• Defence expertise (e.g., Bundeswehr structures, BAAINBw, NATO frameworks)
• Experience in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), capability management, procurement, and project management
• Security clearance or willingness to undergo security screening (preferred)
• Willingness to travel
• Business‑fluent German and English; additional languages (e.g., French, Ukrainian) are an asset
