Public Relations Officer

Edith Cowan University (ECU) Sri Lanka is the first Australian university to establish a direct campus in Sri Lanka, offering students the opportunity to experience an authentic Australian education. As Public Relations Officer you will be joining the Marketing Team to contribute to the strategic growth and visibility of ECU Sri Lanka.

• Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls and emails
• Handle student inquiries and provide basic information about programs and admissions
• Maintain visitor records and manage appointment scheduling
• Perform general reception duties and ensure the front office is well maintained
• Track, record, and generate regular reports on all student inquiries (walk-in, telephone, email, and online) for management review
• Assist with coordination of meetings, events, and campus activities
• Support marketing and public relations activities when required

 

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, or a related field
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in reception or customer service
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Sinhala and/or Tamil is an advantage)
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask and work independently

Our main campus location in Colombo, Sri Lanka is conveniently situated between the CBD and the parliament area, close to restaurants, lunch places and shopping. Located in one multifunctional building, the campus features purpose-built biomedical, engineering and computer labs, a digital hub, large modern library, modern classrooms, student collaboration spaces and a coffee lounge. 

Our College in Kandy is situated in Peradeniya Road.
