The Public Relations Associate will play a key role in supporting the Academy’s communication strategy, enhancing brand visibility, and strengthening relationships with stakeholders. This position requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will contribute to the development and execution of public relations initiatives that align with the organization’s growth objectives and reinforce its professional image.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing comprehensive public relations strategies

• Draft press releases, official statements, newsletters, and professional communications

• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment

• Build and maintain relationships with media contacts, community partners, and stakeholders

• Monitor media coverage and prepare performance reports

• Support event coordination and represent the organization at community and professional functions

• Manage crisis communication support under senior leadership guidance

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational and project management abilities

• Ability to maintain professionalism and discretion in all communications

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard business communication tools

• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field preferred
