THE BACKGROUND

We are seeking an experienced Public Cloud Architect to design, implement, and support cloud solutions for our customers across multi-cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise with at least one major public cloud platform—either AWS or Azure—and a strong background delivering scalable, secure, and reliable cloud architectures.

YOUR MISSION

As a Public Cloud Architect, you will work closely with customers, project managers, and internal technical teams to translate business requirements into robust cloud solutions. This role requires strong communication skills, a consultative mindset, and the ability to lead complex cloud initiatives from design through delivery.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

• Design end-to-end cloud architectures for customer environments across IaaS, PaaS, and serverless services.

• Lead cloud migration, modernization, and transformation projects with a focus on best practices and secure design principles.

• Provide architectural governance, technical leadership, and quality assurance throughout project lifecycles.

• Conduct cloud readiness assessments and create high-level and low-level design documentation.

• Automate infrastructure deployment using IaC tools such as Terraform or ARM/Bicep.

• Collaborate with security teams to ensure compliance, identity and access controls, network architecture, and data protection strategies.

• Optimize customer environments for cost, performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing guidance on cloud strategy, roadmap development, and technology selection.

• Assist with pre-sales activities, including solution scoping, effort estimation, and presenting architecture proposals.

• Serve as a senior escalation point for cloud-related technical challenges during project execution.
