We’re hiring a Public Area Attendant for a beautiful hotel in the heart of College Park, MD. This role plays a key part in maintaining a clean, polished, and welcoming atmosphere throughout the hotel’s public spaces. From lobbies to restrooms and everything in between, you’ll ensure that all guest-facing areas are spotless, safe, and up to brand standards.
Responsibilities for Public Attendant:
Maintain cleanliness of all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, restrooms, and fitness areas.
Replenish towels, tissues, and other supplies in public spaces.
Empty trash receptacles and maintain sanitation standards.
Respond quickly to guest requests and report maintenance issues to management.
Operate housekeeping equipment safely and responsibly.
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation policies.
Qualifications for Public Attendant:
Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial work preferred.
Strong attention to detail and pride in cleanliness.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Flexible schedule availability, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
