Public Accountant - Indonesia

Job Summary
Responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting and tax functions in compliance
with Indonesian Financial Accounting Standards (PSAK) and prevailing tax regulations.
Ensure accurate financial reporting, timely tax filings, and support business operations with
reliable financial information.
What You’ll Do
A. Accounting Functions
● Maintain full set of accounts (GL, AR, AP, fixed assets, and inventory if
applicable)
● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance
with PSAK
● Handle journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
● Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
● Ensure proper documentation and filing of all accounting records
● Liaise with auditors for annual statutory audit and ensure timely completion
● Support budgeting and financial analysis where required
B. Tax Compliance & Reporting
● Prepare and submit monthly and annual tax filings (e.g. VAT, withholding tax,
corporate income tax)
● Ensure compliance with Indonesian tax regulations and deadlines
● Handle tax calculations, tax reconciliations, and tax provisions
● Liaise with tax authorities on tax queries, audits, and assessments
● Monitor changes in tax regulations and assess impact on the company
● Assist in tax planning and optimization strategies
C. Regulatory & Compliance
● Ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and reporting obligations
● Coordinate with external consultants (tax agents, auditors, corporate
secretaries)
● Maintain proper records for regulatory inspections and audits
D. Operational Support
● Support invoicing and billing processes
● Monitor accounts receivable and payable status
● Assist in internal control implementation and process improvements
● Provide ad-hoc financial and tax support to management
E. Ad-hoc Support
● Assist in cross-border corporate structuring matters (if applicable)
● Support management with special projects and assignments
