Als psychomotorisch therapeut bij Wier werk je met een complexe doelgroep: volwassenen met een licht verstandelijke beperking (IQ tussen ongeveer 50 en 85), gedragsproblemen en psychiatrische stoornissen in een ambulante setting. Jij brengt beweging waar het vastloopt. Zet beweging in als behandeling en brengt cliënten stap voor stap vooruit.

Kleine stappen maken grote verschillen. Met structuur, duidelijkheid, geduld en lef.

• Je geeft individuele en groepsgerichte psychomotorische therapie.

• Je werkt o.a. met modulen en trainingen, gericht op bijvoorbeeld emotieregulatie, verslaving en persoonlijkheidsproblematiek.

• Je zet bewegingsgerichte interventies in, zoals sport en spel.

• Je observeert gedrag en vertaalt dit naar behandeladviezen.

• Je bent onderdeel van het multidisciplinair team

• Je levert actief input voor behandelplannen en overleg.

• Je draagt bij aan deskundigheidsbevordering binnen het team.

De rode draad in je werk is bijdragen aan de behandeling van cliënten waarbij je jouw vaardigheden als therapeut inzet die bijdragen aan verder herstel en het samenwerken aan perspectief.

Hier kom je te werken

Je komt te werken binnen de ambulante teams van Behandelcentrum Wier, onderdeel van Fivoor en aangesloten bij Expertisecentrum De Borg. Wier biedt gespecialiseerde behandeling aan mensen met een licht verstandelijke beperking in combinatie met ernstige gedrags- en/of psychiatrische problematiek (SGLVG). Onze cliënten hebben vaak te maken met overvraging, instabiliteit en teleurstellingen in eerdere zorgtrajecten. We werken vanuit multidisciplinair verband; o.a. casemanagers, psychiater, psychologen/ orthopedagogen en vaktherapeuten (beeldend, muziek, PMT en drama).

Wier levert klinische en ambulante zorg in Noord‑Holland, Flevoland en Utrecht, met meerdere klinieken in de regio Utrecht en vijf ambulante teams: ACT, FACT, Poli en Dagbehandeling. Je vaste werkplek is het team van Poli Wier in Utrecht.

Voor onze cliënten kan het leven overweldigend en onvoorspelbaar zijn. Het behandelteam van Wier maakt vaak het verschil: door nabij te zijn, door te doen wat nodig is en door vol te houden — ook als het moeilijk wordt. Wij streven naar hoogwaardige behandeling voor cliënten met psychiatrische problematiek in combinatie met de verstandelijke beperking.
