Experienced psychologists are invited to contribute to a high-impact AI research collaboration with a leading artificial intelligence research organization. This project focuses on evaluating and enhancing AI system performance across psychology-related domains, including clinical, cognitive, developmental, and social psychology.
This opportunity is well-suited for professionals with strong academic training and practical expertise who can critically assess reasoning quality, conceptual depth, and ethical considerations in AI-generated content.
Requirements:
Key Responsibilities
• Design psychology-based tasks grounded in real-world clinical scenarios, theoretical frameworks, and research applications
• Review AI-generated outputs for conceptual accuracy, diagnostic precision, ethical integrity, and psychological insight
• Develop benchmark (“gold standard”) responses reflecting best-practice clinical reasoning and academic rigor
• Identify model limitations and provide structured recommendations for improving AI outputs related to psychological topics
• Deliver detailed, written feedback and collaborate asynchronously with researchers and peer reviewers
• Contribute to quality assurance processes to maintain consistency and intellectual rigor
Ideal Qualifications
• PhD or PsyD in Psychology or a closely related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in clinical practice, academic research, teaching, or applied psychology
• Deep understanding of psychological theory, diagnostic frameworks, research methodology, and professional ethics
• Strong analytical reasoning and written communication skills
• Ability to critically evaluate logic, assumptions, and interpretive accuracy in complex responses
• Broad familiarity across multiple psychology subfields
Project Details
• Expected commitment: 10+ hours per week
• Fully remote with flexible scheduling
• Deliverables-driven engagement model with structured peer validation and quality checks
• Tasks may include open-ended reasoning evaluations, scenario-based analysis, literature synthesis, and ethical review
Contract & Payment Terms
• Engagement will be structured as an independent contractor agreement
• This is a fully remote role that can be completed on your own schedule
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on performance and evolving research needs
• Assignments will not require access to confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
• Payments are processed weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered
• Visa sponsorship is not available; H1-B and STEM OPT candidates cannot be supported at this time
