Staff Psychiatry Opportunity – Connecticut
Hospital Based Staff Psychiatry opportunity –Adult Inpatient Services
We are recruiting a Staff Psychiatrist to work in our Adult Psychiatry center for behavioral health. You will treat adults with a wide spectrum of psychiatric illness, with a stable, collegial multi-disciplinary team inclusive of Psychologists, APRNs, Social Workers and Psychology, Social Work and APRN students.
Seeking a Psychiatrist with strong leadership skills and a minimum of five years experience to become Medical Director of a locked 17-bed adult Inpatient Unit. Roughly 1/3 of patients have psychotic disorders, the rest have mood disorders; and about half of the patients also have a substance abuse disorder. Call will be just 1:5. Beautiful coastal location provides access to Boston and New York, as well as great schools and a welcoming community.
