About the Role:
As a Senior Staff Specialist / Staff Specialist you will deliver expert psychiatric care across inpatient, outpatient, and hospital-in-the-home settings. You will be at the forefront of clinical leadership, working alongside experienced professionals committed to recovery-oriented and trauma-informed care.

In this position, you will:

• Provide specialist psychiatric assessment and treatment across a varied caseload
• Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and allied health team members
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives
• Play a vital role in the education and training of future mental health clinicians

About the Department:
The Mental Health and Specialised Services division is a dynamic and evolving department, embedded within a major regional public health service. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality, integrated mental health care across all age groups, with dedicated teams in:

• Adult Community Mental Health
• Child & Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS)
• Older Persons Mental Health
• Acute Inpatient Psychiatry
• Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
• Hospital in the Home (HITH)

You'll be supported by a collaborative team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, and peer support workers. The service is known for innovation in regional mental health delivery, and there's strong institutional support for professional development, research, and leadership pathways.

Remuneration package valued up to $528,085 p.a.

• Base salary from $182,106 – $266,677 p.a. plus significant allowances
