Job Summary
Trusted Results Therapy Group is seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our
growing behavioral health team. This provider will deliver comprehensive psychiatric evaluations,
medication management, and ongoing mental health care for patients across South Carolina.
This position is primarily telehealth, with in-person visits conducted mainly in our Columbia office.
Providers should also be willing to occasionally see patients at other locations such as Rock Hill
when needed.
The role will begin as a 1099 independent contractor with part time hours and is expected to grow
into full time hours as the caseload builds.
Compensation: $150 to $200 per hour
Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
• Supervise and provide clinical oversight to Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) and
other advanced practice providers on the team
• Provide consultation, co-signatures, and collaborative agreements as required by South
Carolina law for supervised NPs
• Collaborate with therapists and care coordinators to support integrated treatment
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record
• Participate in treatment planning to support coordinated patient care
Experience
The ideal candidate should demonstrate the following skills and experience:
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Knowledge of psychopharmacology and medication management
• Experience providing care in outpatient behavioral health settings preferred
• Prior experience supervising or collaborating with Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) or other
APRNs
• Experience providing care through telehealth is a plus
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Psychiatry residency program
• Board Certification in Psychiatry (ABPN or equivalent)
• Active and unrestricted South Carolina medical license
• Active DEA registration
• Eligibility and willingness to serve as supervising physician for Nurse Practitioners
(PMHNPs) per South Carolina regulations
• Ability to provide telehealth and in-person services
