Job Description
Marshall White, Melbourne’s leading name in premium real estate, is offering a unique opportunity for an experienced Roving Property Manager to join our Property Management team. With over 9 offices and 350+ dedicated professionals, our reputation for excellence spans Melbourne’s most prestigious suburbs including Bayside, Stonnington, Boroondara, Port Phillip, Manningham, and the Mornington Peninsula.
Our commitment to excellence, innovation, and client service has earned us a reputation as one of the most trusted and respected brands in luxury real estate. Our culture is grounded in our core values:
Integrity – We do what we say, and we do what’s right.
Teamwork – We believe in winning together and thriving together.
Professionalism – We strive for excellence in every moment.
About the role
This is a roving role providing relief Property Management support across multiple Marshall White offices, rather than managing a fixed portfolio. You will step in when Property Managers are on leave, unwell, or during peak periods, ensuring our landlords and renters continue to receive seamless, premium service.
You may work from different offices (for example Brighton, Armadale, Hawthorn, Albert Park, Balwyn or Manningham) depending on business needs, covering an established portfolio temporarily and then handing it back once the permanent Property Manager returns. This role is ideal for an experienced Property Manager who still loves the work but is looking for less long‑term portfolio pressure and more variety day to day.
Your responsibilities
Provide end-to-end Property Management support when covering portfolios across our offices.
Maintain strong relationships with landlords, renters, and service providers during relief periods.
Ensure compliance with all legislation, processes, and Marshall White standards.
Proactively manage maintenance, arrears, lease renewals and routine inspections while in each assignment.
Document handover notes clearly so the permanent Property Manager can seamlessly resume control.
Contribute to a supportive, collaborative culture within each office you work in.
Skills & experience
Solid Property Management experience (ideally several years in a full portfolio role).
Strong working knowledge of residential tenancy legislation.
Excellent communication, relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills.
Highly organised, adaptable and comfortable working in different offices and systems.
A calm, professional manner with the ability to step into existing portfolios and keep things running smoothly.
A genuine passion for client service and premium real estate.
Benefits of joining Marshall White
A role with variety and reduced long-term portfolio pressure, perfect for seasoned PMs wanting a sustainable career move.
Opportunity to work across multiple high-performing offices and learn from senior leaders.
Competitive salary package and supportive team environment.
Ongoing professional development and training, both internal and external.
An inclusive, diverse culture focused on wellbeing, connection, and success.
Why Marshall White?
By joining Marshall White as a Roving Property Manager, you will work alongside industry leaders in one of Melbourne’s landmark real estate brands. You will be part of a culture that celebrates collaboration, growth, and excellence—delivering not just jobs, but careers people are proud of.
If you are an experienced Property Manager who still enjoys the work but is seeking a role with more balance, variety, and support, we would love to hear from you. Apply today and be part of a team that values the people behind the properties.
Application note
Candidates must reside in Melbourne with full Australian working rights.
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
