Job Summary
The Property Hand is a versatile and reliable individual responsible for supporting the daily upkeep and functionality of a private property. This role involves a wide variety of hands-on tasks, from general maintenance and landscaping to light animal care and errands. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working in a rural, outdoor setting.
Duties/Responsibilities
Perform general property maintenance and repairs as needed
Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping, including weed eating and brush clearing
Support routine animal care duties under the direction of the property owner
Maintain fences, tools, and basic infrastructure
Assist with errands and occasional logistical tasks
Provide seasonal and project-based support when required
Complete miscellaneous property-related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Strong work ethic and ability to perform physical outdoor labor
Familiarity with tools and light repair or maintenance work
Responsible and self-directed with minimal supervision
Comfortable working around animals and rural property settings
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to follow instructions and adapt to changing priorities
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior hands-on property, ranch, or farm work experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
