Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Prop Trading Risk Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the stability and security of our proprietary trading operations by implementing and maintaining robust risk management practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Risk Policy Execution: Enforce and execute risk policies for proprietary trading, ensuring all trading activities comply with established risk management frameworks.
• Monitoring & Assessment: Continuously monitor trading risks, including market exposure, liquidity constraints, and volatility, to mitigate potential threats.
• Data Analysis & Pattern Recognition: Utilize data analysis tools and pattern recognition techniques to identify abnormal trading behaviors, unauthorized activities, or inefficiencies.
• Real-Time Risk Management: Perform live risk checks on trading positions, ensuring adherence to internal risk limits.
• Strategy Development: Develop and refine risk execution strategies to ensure risk models are aligned with real-world trading scenarios.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with trading teams to provide actionable insights, supporting new trading initiatives such as Futures trading.

Requirements:
• Proven experience in risk management within the proprietary trading or financial services industry.
• Strong understanding of trading strategies, financial instruments, and market dynamics.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools, pattern recognition, and risk assessment techniques.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
