Job Description
Role Purpose
The Project Support Lead is responsible for coordinating and supporting the successful delivery of projects across the organization. The role ensures that project governance, reporting, communication, and administrative functions are effectively managed so that project lead, project managers and technical teams can focus on execution. The Project Support Lead acts as the central point of escalation for project risks, issues and delivery concerns. The role will also be responsible for project tracking, documentation, and performance visibility.

Main Duties and Key Responsibilities
• Provide senior administrative and operational support to project lead, project managers and wider business.
• Direct support to the project lead including but not limited to;
o Operational and Financial Reporting
o Escalations
o Resource forecasting and Planning
o Tracking of milestone and deliverables
o Ensure project documentation is accurate, up to date, and centrally stored.
o Monitor project progress against scope, timelines, and budgets.
o Track risks, issues, and dependencies and ensure they are escalated where necessary.
o Support compliance with project management frameworks and internal processes.
o Facilitate communication between internal teams, vendors, and customers.
o Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and record minutes and actions.
o Ensure stakeholders are informed of progress, risks, and changes.
o Monitor project effort, time tracking, and cost reporting.
o Support forecasting and planning activities with finance and operations teams.
o Identify opportunities to improve project processes, tools, and reporting.
o Help standardize templates, methodologies, and best practices across projects.
o Support lessons-learned reviews and post-implementation assessments.

KEY COMPETENCIES
• Previous experience in a Senior Project Co-ordinator role or similar, preferably in a support role to a Team Leader
• Experience in successfully managing and delivering projects with a proven track record
• Customer centric
• Proven decision making and problem-solving ability
• Good communicator, both face-to-face and written format
• Proven experience of managing resources
• Proven experience of goods receipting process
• Solid experience of auditing process
• Able to work within a Team and on own initiative
• Good familiarity with Microsoft O365 applications, particularly Excel & MS Projects
• Previous experience of Resourcing and Timesheet application management
