This role supports a U.S. property-management client seeking growth in rental community contracts, leasing packages, and resident service programs.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Remote Project Sales Consultant is responsible for supporting sales operations by qualifying leads, conducting client consultations, preparing proposals, and assisting with closing new business opportunities for EMS’s U.S.-based client.
This is a remote position based in the Philippines. The Consultant works closely with U.S.-based leadership and field teams to ensure accurate quoting, compliant service delivery, and a smooth transition from initial inquiry to executed contract.
This role is not field-based. All site visits, inspections, and physical information gathering are conducted by U.S.-based personnel. The Consultant focuses on communication, coordination, proposal development, and client follow-up.

ACCOUNTABLE FOR: Startup Construction & Home Improvement Client (Residential and Commercial Projects). Understand client requirements and present appropriate products or services that meet their project needs, ensuring a consultative approach.
CLASSIFICATION: Exempt – Independent Contractor (Non-U.S., W-8BEN), Full time
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm EST
COMPENSATION RANGE: USD $5–$7 per hour (based on experience and performance)
LOCATION: Remote – Philippines
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Support & Client Consultation
Respond to inbound leads and conduct initial client consultations via phone, email, or video.
Qualify client needs, timelines, and service requirements using structured intake procedures.
Clearly explain available services and pricing parameters to clients.
Identify projects that can be quoted remotely versus those requiring an on-site assessment.
Estimating & Proposal Coordination
Prepare preliminary estimates and proposals for projects that can be quoted without a site visit.
Coordinate with the Operations Manager, Construction Department Supervisor, and Maintenance Department Supervisor for projects requiring in-person inspections.
Receive field data, measurements, and notes from U.S.-based teams and convert them into accurate proposals.
Ensure all estimates and proposals align with approved scopes, pricing guidelines, and licensing limitations.
Internal Collaboration
Work closely with:
Operations Manager – scheduling, workflow coordination, and project handoff
Construction Department Supervisor – scope clarification and build feasibility
Maintenance Department Supervisor – service assessments and repair-based projects
Maintain clear documentation and communication across teams to prevent misquoting or service delays.
CRM & Pipeline Management
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
Track leads, consultations, estimates, approvals, and closed contracts.
Ensure timely follow-up with prospective clients and internal stakeholders.
Provide regular status updates and reports to sales and leadership teams.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Follow company policies related to licensing, service eligibility, and jurisdictional restrictions.
Ensure services are only offered where licensed providers are available and authorized.
Escalate any compliance or scope concerns to management prior to proposal issuance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
2–4 years of experience in construction, handyman, or maintenance sales support, inside sales, customer service, or project coordination.Ability to work U.S. business hours or overlapping shifts. Comfortable working with CRM systems, email, spreadsheets, and document tools.Minimum Education:Preferred (but not required):Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of formal education.Familiarity with basic construction or service terminology (no field experience required).
Prior experience working with U.S.-based clients or companies.
Experience supporting construction, home services, property management, or maintenance businesses.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Construction Management, or a related field.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Reliable internet connection and remote work setup.
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
