N-iX is a global software development service company that helps businesses across the globe create next-generation software products. Founded in 2002, we unite 2,500+ tech-savvy professionals across 40+ countries, working on impactful projects for industry leaders and Fortune 500 companies. Our expertise spans cloud, data, AI/ML, embedded software, IoT, and more, driving digital transformation across finance, manufacturing, telecom, healthcare, and other industries. Join N-iX and become part of a team where your ideas make a real impact.
We are looking for a strong Project Manager who will focus on managing cross-functional teams across staff augmentation and managed project engagements, building trusted client relationships, and contributing to pre-sales and account growth.
This is not a coordination seat - you will be the primary point of contact for your clients, responsible for delivery quality, relationship health, and account growth.
You'll work across two delivery models: team augmentation and managed projects, adapting your approach to each context. From day one, you'll be embedded in active accounts, with a clear path to full autonomy as trust is established. You'll also contribute to pre-sales activities, helping shape how we win and onboard new business.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN:
Client Relationship Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for your assigned client accounts
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with client stakeholders at all levels
• Proactively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities - bringing issues to the surface early, not after they escalate
• Own client satisfaction metrics and run regular health-check reviews
Delivery Ownership
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver on time, within scope, and with consistent quality
• Adapt your delivery approach to the engagement model: facilitate outcomes in staff aug accounts, drive structured execution in managed/fixed-price projects
• Manage risks, scope changes, and dependencies with clear mitigation plans
• Own project budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting
Pre-Sales & Account Growth
• Participate in discovery workshops, scoping sessions, and effort estimation for new engagements
• Contribute to proposals and client presentations during the pre-sales phase
• Identify upsell and expansion opportunities within existing accounts and work with the business development team to act on them
Team & Organizational Contribution
• Drive hiring for project-specific roles and participate in technical interviews
• Support the professional development of engineers on your accounts through feedback and performance discussions
• Contribute to internal delivery practices and process improvement initiatives
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
• 3+ years of experience in IT Project Management within an outsourcing or software services company
• Demonstrated ownership of client relationships - you've been the person clients call when something goes wrong, not just a task tracker
• Experience across both staff augmentation and fixed-price/managed delivery models
• Hands-on participation in pre-sales: scoping, estimation, discovery, or proposal preparation
• Strong SDLC understanding and practical experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Outcome orientation - you connect delivery decisions to client business goals, not just milestones
• Confident English communication, spoken and written (Upper-Intermediate / B2+)
• Proficiency with Jira and Confluence (or equivalent project tooling)
Nice to Have
• Technical background in software development
• PMI-ACP, PMP, PSM, CSM, or equivalent certification
We offer*:
• Flexible working format - remote, office-based or flexible
• A competitive salary and good compensation package
• Personalized career growth
• Professional development tools (mentorship program, tech talks and trainings, centers of excellence, and more)
• Active tech communities with regular knowledge sharing
• Education reimbursement
• Memorable anniversary presents
• Corporate events and team buildings
• Other location-specific benefits
*not applicable for freelancers
