We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation. This role will lead end-to-end project execution for new equipment installations, upgrades, and tooling projects, ensuring alignment with production requirements, budget, and timeline.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for tooling and equipment projects
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and suppliers
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement
• Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation
• Validate equipment performance and handover to operations
• Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets
• Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management
• Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
• Proven expertise in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, SAP, or similar)
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
Preferred Qualifications
• PMP or equivalent project management certification
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives
