Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution of our Offshore projects. The position will be based at one of our EU office locations.
Responsibilities in this position include forecasting project scope, costs and time, and providing leadership to the many stakeholders, including technicians, managers, vendors, subcontractors, customers and clients. GWS relies on project leaders to ensure professional and efficient project planning & execution, from manpower to commercial commitments.
About the role:
With direct reference to our Offshore Divisional Director, you will become part of a professional Offshore Team managing various projects across Europe. As Global Wind Service is expanding, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our high-impact projects across Europe. Requirements:
· Project Management: Ability to lead either lump-sum and/or hourly rate projects efficiently from start to finish by fulfilling compliance with local legislation and customer requirements. SGRE and/or Vestas experience is preferred
· Safety Leadership: Promote a strong HSEQ culture and support in delivering our “New Tomorrow” initiatives.
· Compliance: Adhere to local immigration, tax and employment laws, alongside customers local requirements.
· Adaptability: Implement necessary changes for project and company growth.
· Customer Focus: Manage relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.
· Site Leadership: Conduct pre-start inspections, a site-specific agreements and maintain regular on-site presence demonstrating visible leadership.
· Resource Planning: Allocate equipment and manpower effectively.
· Documentation: Prepare, update and maintain all project records.
· Performance Monitoring and follow-up: progress reporting to clients and internal stakeholders
· Budget Management; Manage budget forecasting, control costs and provide guidance and track variances
· Revenue Growth: Identify opportunities to boost project revenue in collaboration with Sales.
· Team Leadership: Build and guide a high-performing project team.
