Project Manager(MS Dynamics AX, Retail)

Sonsoft , Inc. is a USA based corporation duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.

Primary responsibilities include:

· Accountable for managing the project from project inception to closure including tasks such as training, roll out plans and Go No Go meetings using Agile Scrum.

· Facilitate daily team scrum meetings, retrospectives, and sprint reviews using online sharing tools, internal development tracking tool and conference calls.

· Act as a coach and remove impediments for the team.

· Monitoring and controlling scope, risk, issues and dependencies throughout the sprints.

· Updating shared Project Dashboard/Risk Register.

· Escalating project issues and change control up through the PMO and Steering Committees as required.

· Measuring and report on various KPIs and the overall health of the project.

· Managing and working with management tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

Successful candidate must:

· Communicate effectively to all levels of the IT and Business organizations.

· Understand and be able to apply Agile Scrum methodology.

· Effectively manage matrix managed teams (both IT and Business).

· Be organized and detail oriented.

· Actively produce and update all proper PM/Agile required documentation [schedules through lessons learned].

· Be accountable for the overall project success.

· Demonstrate strong leadership, coaching and interpersonal skills.

· Aptitude to learn about the business functionality being delivered.

· Strong analytical skills, including ability to see the overall project picture at any point in time

Basic Qualifications:

· Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Information Systems or related field required.

· 3+ years of experience in managing multi-faceted medium to large technical and business focused delivery projects using Agile Scrum.

· Must understand Agile project management methodology and be able to apply it in projects.

Desired Skills:

· Experience leading ERP application projects.

· Retail industry experience.

· Experience with JIRA and Confluence.

· Active PMI-PMP® or PMI-ACP®
