Project Manager (Implementation & Delivery)
Overview
At ZeroRisk, we’re transforming merchant security and compliance into a real-time, risk-based intelligence platform.
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering onboarding and customer implementation projects end-to-end, while also supporting requirements gathering, process design, and solution delivery.
This is a hands-on delivery role, combining:
• Project management
• Business analysis
• Customer-facing implementation support
You will work closely with the Implementation/Configuration team, acting as the bridge between customer needs and platform delivery.
Your Mission
Own and deliver customer onboarding and implementation projects, ensuring:
• Clear requirements definition
• Structured project execution
• Smooth merchant and customer rollout
You will not only manage the plan, but also help shape the solution and customer journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Management & Delivery
• Manage multiple onboarding and implementation projects concurrently
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Track progress, risks, dependencies, and blockers (RAID)
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to quality standards
• Provide regular status updates to internal teams and customers
2. Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
• Run discovery workshops with customers to capture:
• Current (as-is) processes
• Target (to-be) workflows
• Translate requirements into:
• User stories
• Acceptance criteria
• Process flows / journey maps
• Ensure requirements are clear, structured, and testable
• Act as the bridge between customer needs and delivery teams
3. Solution Design & Implementation Support
• Work closely with configuration and implementation teams to:
• Define workflows, rules, and onboarding journeys
• Validate that solutions meet business requirements
• Support configuration decisions and ensure alignment with customer needs
• Help define rollout strategies and merchant onboarding journeys
4. Testing & UAT Coordination
• Define and review test scenarios based on requirements
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with customers
• Track defects, issues, and resolutions through to closure
• Ensure readiness for go-live
5. Customer Engagement
• Act as the primary point of contact during implementation
• Build strong working relationships with customer stakeholders
• Run regular project check-ins and steering updates
• Ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and outcomes
6. Documentation & Delivery Framework
• Create and maintain:
• Project plans
• Requirements documentation
• Process flows
• Implementation playbooks
• Ensure all artefacts are structured, version-controlled, and reusable
• Contribute to improving delivery frameworks and templates
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with:
• Product
• Engineering
• Implementation / Configuration team
• Customer Success
• Merchant Success
• Ensure smooth handoffs from:
• Sales → Delivery
• Delivery → Customer/Merchant Success
What You’ll Need
• 3–5 years’ experience in:
• Project Management
• Business Analysis
• Implementation / Delivery roles in SaaS
• Strong experience in:
• Requirements gathering & documentation
• Process mapping (flows, journeys)
• Stakeholder management
• UAT
• Experience working with:
• Cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, CS)
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to have:
• Payments, compliance, or fintech experience
• Exposure to PCI DSS or merchant payment ecosystems
Success Metrics
• On-time, in-scope delivery of implementation projects
• Quality and clarity of requirements and documentation
