Who we are looking for:
The Project Manager is responsible for the project’s strategic alignment, delivery and ultimately activating value for VMLY&R clients. The Project Manager translates marketing and business owner goals and objectives into effective, scalable and user-centric digital experiences. The Project Manager is an expert in digital platforms and experiences. He/she leads a team of digital experts from various fields (research, user experience, creative, technology) to solution and deliver innovative and compelling projects for a wide variety of clients. His/her participates in the design and development of digital and product strategies, discovery and user studies, support of creative and technology processes, product launch and even the ongoing support and continuous optimisation of the product.
Key Responsibilities
• Management projects through delivery within agreed tolerance time, cost and quality
• Identify, assess, manage project risks and develop and execute mitigation strategies
• Ensure project documentation is complete and up to date
• Manage the estimation process for work effort to deliver solution requests
• Ensure solution meets requirements and manage stakeholder expectations through concise and effective project communications
What we are looking for
• Passionate about the digital media industry
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the digital media industry
• Strong understanding of leading digital platforms and technologies
• Strong understanding of project management and digital media processes
• Proven experience in applying the Scrum methodology and (ideally) Scrum Certification
• Proven experience in traditional project management approaches (e.g., PMP, Prince 2)
• Well exposed to areas of digital commerce, mobile, media and analytics
• Strong communications skills
• Independent with strong leadership and time management skills
