Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery oversight of a Finance Replacement Project. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing finance transformation, ERP/finance system implementations, stakeholder coordination, governance, and delivery execution in a structured enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end project execution for the Finance Replacement / Transformation initiative.
• Drive project planning, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and overall delivery governance.
• Coordinate with Finance, Technology, Vendors, PMO, Risk, Compliance, and Business stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation.
• Track and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation.
• Oversee project deliverables across requirements, design, testing, deployment, cutover, and post-go-live support.
• Ensure strong execution oversight, status reporting, steering committee updates, and stakeholder communication.
• Manage budget tracking, resource planning, and vendor coordination for successful project delivery.
• Support UAT, SIT, cutover planning, change management, and business readiness activities.
• Ensure project delivery aligns with finance controls, governance standards, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Drive collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure delivery is on time, within scope, and aligned to business objectives.
Required Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering Finance Transformation / Finance Systems Replacement / ERP Finance projects.
• Strong understanding of finance processes such as GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Financial Reporting, Reconciliation, and Month-End Close.
• Experience managing large-scale system implementation, migration, or replacement projects.
• Strong expertise in project governance, RAID management, stakeholder management, and delivery execution.
• Experience working with Finance teams, technology teams, vendors, and senior leadership.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery models.
• Strong communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
• Experience in banking, financial services, insurance, or enterprise finance environments is highly preferred.
Preferred
• Exposure to ERP / Finance platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Workday, Tagetik, Hyperion, or other finance systems.
• PMP / Prince2 / Agile certification is an advantage.
