Your mission:
As a Project Manager, you are responsible for the high-quality planning, delivery and commercial success of your projects. You will be the main point of contact for our clients from concept design phase through to implementation on site.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Lead turnkey and AVL event production projects, managing the entire lifecycle from initial planning and design through procurement, build, execution, and final handover. Turnkey in this context means providing a fully integrated solution, covering all technical disciplines, scenic and fit-out works, structural elements, creative direction, logistics, operations, and client management, with dedicated support units (e.g. logistics, QHSE, procurement) providing specialist delivery. You ensure all support units are aligned, coordinated, and performing to the plan.
• Oversee the development of the master project schedule and manage its implementation.
• Observe projects quality, deadlines and cost control.
• Conduct project reviews and create detailed reports for key stakeholders.
• Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously from pre-construction to closeout.
• Ensure strict adherence to ethics and compliance requirements at all times.
• Participate in tender process, i.e. design, submission and review.
• Provide leadership in risk evaluation, contract negotiations, fee and pricing decisions.
• Tender, negotiate and award supplier contracts for subcontracting services.
• Coordinate a project team of specialist technical planners, estimators, coordinators, site managers and other team members. You will create the necessary project structures, provide guidance for the team members, ensure communication flows freely at all stages and create alignment amongst the team.
• Collaborate with Crew Management on resource planning of assigned projects using EasyJob software.
• Collaborate with QHSE on projects on-site, ensuring deliveries in line with HSE / QAQC requirements and compliances.
• Continuously build and maintain a strong network of clients.
• Secure growth opportunities and initiate new projects.
Your profile:
• Extensive project/ technical management experience within AVL, fit-out and/ or scenic in the field of events.
• Relevant experience in the Middle East, primarily UAE and/ or KSA is highly preferred.
• Technical knowledge of Audio, Video and Lighting systems and control.
• Knowledge and experience with current entertainment technologies required for large scale installations.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully create and manage large budgets.
• Proven ability to open new client opportunities and expand existing relationships, contributing to the organization’s growth and long-term business development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• English language proficiency is a must (Arabic is a plus).
• Flexible to work based on the requirements of the live event industry.
• Good understanding of technical, business & contractual correlations in all complexity.
• Commercially minded, with ability to balance technical, business, and contractual requirements.
