About the Opportunity
Firmo Construction is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to lead ground-up, branded hotel projects in the Southeast. This role will manage new hospitality builds for nationally recognized brands including Hilton, Marriott, and IHG, from active construction through closeout.
The Project Manager will oversee all project management deliverables while working in close partnership with Superintendents and engaging directly with subcontractors, architects, and ownership teams. Candidates should bring proven experience managing projects of similar size and complexity and lead successfully across multiple active projects and teams.
This role is well-suited for experienced professionals who bring strong leadership, financial oversight, and multi-project experience. Collaborative culture with direct access to leadership.

Demonstrate proven success leading commercial construction projects from buyout through closeout.
Have experience with new hospitality construction and/or multifamily projects.
Be proficient with Procore or similar construction technology.
Demonstrate strong ability in project scheduling, cost control, and risk mitigation.
Lead subcontractors with confidence, respect, and maintain strong professional relationships.
Be skilled in reading & interpreting construction documents and resolving field issues.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Lead projects from active construction through closeout.
Oversee project schedules, critical path, and milestone execution.
Manage project budgets, buyouts, and cost tracking.
Oversee quality control and hotel brand compliance through finishes, punch, and final inspections
Lead project turnover activities, including FF&E coordination, owner training, O&M documentation, brand/quality inspections, and final sign-offs.
Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, meeting minutes, and progress tracking.
Drive effective coordination with subcontractors, architects, consultants, and owners to support timely decisions and keep the project moving.
Lead and support Superintendents, setting clear expectations, removing roadblocks, and ensuring strong alignment between field and office operations.
Reinforce Firmo’s safety culture, supporting Superintendents in maintaining compliance with Firmo and OSHA requirements.
Qualifications
3+ years experience as a Project Manager with a General Contractor
Ground-up hospitality or multifamily project experience strongly preferred
Proven success delivering projects on schedule and within budget, including closeout
Strong knowledge of scheduling, cost control, and risk management
Proficiency with Procore and construction management software
Ability to read and interpret construction documents and resolve issues efficiently
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
OSHA 30 and CPR (may be completed after hire)
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally
Ability to navigate active, multi-story construction sites
including stairs, ladders, uneven terrain, and partially completed spaces during site visits.
