Job Description

TOMRA was founded in 1972, based on the design, manufacturing and sale of reverse vending machines (RVMs) for automated collection of used beverage containers. Today TOMRA provides solutions that enable the circular economy with advanced collection and sorting systems, and food processing by employing sensor-based sorting and grading technology. At TOMRA, we value and encourage innovation, passion and responsibility in everything we do.
The TOMRA Group employs 5,000 people globally and is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange (OSE: TOM). TOMRA was named Norway’s Most Innovative Business in 2023 & 2025.
TOMRA Collection is a leading innovator in the circular economy and Clean Loop Recycling. Founded on the invention of the world's first reverse vending machine, we are now responsible for approximately 91,000 installations across more than 60 markets. By providing an effective and efficient way of collecting, sorting and processing containers, TOMRA's reverse vending systems make it easy for consumers to recycle and contribute to a more sustainable planet.
The Shared Service Center (SSC) in Serbia serves as a strategic enabler for TOMRA Collection Europe, providing a strong operational backbone to support scalable growth across markets. By centralizing key services such as remote monitoring, first‑line support, and service coordination, and leveraging Serbia’s strong talent pool and English proficiency, the SSC improves consistency, efficiency, and execution across Europe.

At TOMRA Collection, we improve how the world collects, sorts, and recycles resources. As part of our continued growth and operational maturity, we are strengthening our capability to deliver internal projects and improvement initiatives reliably and transparently across Market Units and Shared Service teams.
We are now looking for a hands‑on Program Manager to join our team in Belgrade. This role plays a key part in driving internal initiatives that improve processes, systems, and service performance—while keeping ways of working pragmatic, lightweight, and value‑driven.
The Role
As Program Manager, you will be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of internal projects and initiatives across Market Units, Shared Services, and enabling functions.
You will combine structured project execution with pragmatic governance: tracking KPIs, managing risks and dependencies, supporting audit and compliance requirements, and ensuring clear, transparent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
This role acts as a trusted delivery partner for internal customers, turning plans into tangible outcomes that improve day‑to‑day operations.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Project Delivery (Internal Customers)
• Manage end‑to‑end delivery of internal projects and initiatives, including process improvements, system rollouts, service enhancements, and transformation activities
• Drive process mapping, standardisation, and continuous improvement across teams
• Define and control project scope, milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and decision logs
• Actively drive execution through follow‑up, issue resolution, and escalation where required, ensuring projects are delivered on time, with quality and clear business outcomes
• Coordinate compliance‑ and audit‑related activities within projects, ensuring required documentation, evidence, and controls are in place and supporting audits when needed
Performance Management & KPI Framework
• Support definition and tracking of project‑ and portfolio‑level KPIs
• Establish clear reporting routines for delivery progress, risks, issues, and outcomes
• Monitor benefits realisation, delivery stability, and improvement impact
• Prepare clear status updates, dashboards, and management escalations for stakeholders and leadership
Agile & Tool‑Driven Ways of Working
• Apply agile or hybrid delivery approaches based on initiative type and maturity
• Use Jira as the primary tool for planning, execution, tracking, and reporting, including maintaining boards, workflows, dashboards, and documentation
• Promote consistent but lightweight ways of working across teams and functions
Stakeholder & Internal Customer Management
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal customers throughout the project lifecycle
• Align expectations, priorities, and dependencies across Market Units, Shared Services, IT, and enabling functions
• Facilitate project kick‑offs, status meetings, reviews, and steering discussions
• Ensure communication is clear, structured, and transparent at all levels of the organisation

What You Bring
We are looking for someone who has:
• Proven experience as a Project Manager in internal, operational, or transformation environments
• Strong hands‑on delivery mindset combined with governance discipline
• Solid experience using project management tools, particularly Jira (boards, workflows, dashboards, reporting)
• Experience in process management, standardisation, and continuous improvement, including building KPI reporting and running performance routines
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across functions and cultures, with the ability to engage both operational teams and senior leaders
• Very good English skills (written and spoken)
Personal Qualities
• Structured, detail‑oriented, and analytical
• A strong team player who can also work independently and make informed decisions when needed
• Comfortable working towards KPIs and consistently delivering high‑quality outputs
