Delaware Nation Industries is supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division Dam Neck Activity (NSWCDD DNA) in Virginia Beach, Va. We provide enterprise management and technical support of the NSWCDD DNA command by aiding in policy, procedures, seat refresh, engineering/technical solutions and the Naval Networking Environment (NNE) strategy.

Job Summary: The Project Manager is very important to the success of our support for the NSWCDD DNA customer. The Project Manager will conduct stakeholder meetings and serve as the primary interface and point of contact for our customer. They will oversee program project operations by developing procedures, planning and reporting to ensure contract and customer requirements are met across the various technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Interfaces with multiple government client organizations to coordinate and complete all project processes for new IT projects from requirements through product development successfully.
• Supports Integrated Project Team (IPT) activities, creates and tracks schedules, leads weekly status meetings, and produces detailed reports used by the team and management.
• Successful candidate must have a strong client service and delivery-oriented mindset and demonstrate the ability to provide innovative solutions to complex problems.
• Plan the delivery of the overall program and its activities in accordance with the mission and the goals of the organization
• Develop new initiatives to support the strategic direction of the organization
• Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve the successful outcome of the program
• Liaise with technical teams to ensure the effective and efficient program delivery
• Oversee the daily tasks of all personnel while ensuring the team is actively working toward established milestones
• Provide project schedule support by defining/establishing the project baseline, maintain project schedules, develop project milestones, and complete assigned work within the assigned timeline.
• Provide distinct technical skills and management strategies to achieve project success.
• Analyze, plan, and develop requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects
• Hold regular technical team meetings to determine progress and address any questions or challenges regarding projects
• Establish and implement training processes and strategies for all technical personnel
• Determine and define clear deliverables, roles and responsibilities for staff members required for specific projects or initiatives

Requirements:
• 5+ years of Technical DoW Project Management Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent Work Experience
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• DoD Top Secret Security Clearance
• Familiarity with Service Now Ticketing system (preferred)

• Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Information Technical Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation Certification (preferred)
