Project Management Mgr (General Project Mgmt) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Airframe Performance Systems (AP&S) Project Management Manager to join our Commercial Modifications & Maintenance (CM&M) team in Long Beach , CA . onsite. This position is for a First-Line Manager who will oversee the execution of AP&S projects, with responsibility for on-time performance and profit / loss. Position Responsibilities: Manage project management specialist for AP&S programs Manage employees performing business management activities in the area of Project Management Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvement Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree 10 + years’ relevant experience Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in contracts and proposals PMP certification preferred Prior experience within commercial aviation AP&S Prior experience with project management Prior people management experience Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the company’s conflict of interest (CoI) assessment process.
