Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Project Governance Manager to join a leading bank in Saudi Arabia. The role will be responsible for establishing and overseeing project governance frameworks to ensure effective delivery of strategic and regulatory initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring ex–Big 4 consulting experience and strong exposure to banking environments, with the ability to work within Saudi regulatory and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish, implement, and maintain project governance frameworks, standards, and controls across banking programs and initiatives
• Ensure compliance with Saudi banking regulations, internal policies, and governance requirements
• Provide oversight and assurance across project and transformation portfolios, including progress tracking, risk and issue management, and escalation
• Prepare governance dashboards, reports, and materials for senior management and steering committees
• Review project documentation (business cases, plans, delivery artifacts) to ensure quality and compliance
• Work closely with business, IT, risk, compliance, and internal audit teams
• Support regulatory and audit engagements where required
• Drive consistency and best practices in project delivery across the bank
Requirements:
Required Experience & Skills
• 8–12+ years of experience in project governance, PMO, or transformation roles
• Previous Big 4 consulting experience (Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG) is highly preferred
• Proven experience working in banks or financial services organizations
• Strong understanding of banking regulations and governance frameworks applicable in Saudi Arabia
• Experience with large-scale transformation, regulatory, or strategic programs
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to operate confidently with senior leadership
