Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Execution Lead to join the VML Marketing Coordinator (MC) Program. This global community of 400+ employees operates at the intersection of Microsoft Marketing and agency teams, coordinating campaigns that generate sales leads for Microsoft. The ideal candidate will have a background in B2B marketing, project management, and client-facing roles, coupled with a knack for problem-solving and working collaboratively with diverse teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment and is passionate about delivering results through seamless campaign execution.
What you’ll do:
Planning & Set-Up
• Support marketers in developing integrated and feasible marketing demand generation plans that align local execution with automated demand generation.
• Advise stakeholders on MC Program services, processes, SLAs, KPIs, and tools while ensuring alignment with global and local governance for marketing planning, setup, and measurement.
• Incorporate past learnings into ongoing commercial marketing planning and execution.
• Understand targeting criteria and prioritize pre-defined target lists based on local marketing goals.
Execution & Project Management
• Serve as the single point of contact for Microsoft marketing projects, coordinating across multiple MC Program disciplines and external agencies.
• Create and manage marketing project plans and service requests in the intake tool.
• Oversee marketing execution, tracking progress, resolving issues, and ensuring accurate spend attribution.
• Organize cadence meetings, document discussions, and follow up on action items related to MC Program activities.
Measurement & Reporting
• Ensure measurement plans align with marketers’ reporting requirements and business objectives.
• Oversee the timely upload of business leads to Marketo and provide stakeholders with campaign performance insights.
• Analyze performance dashboards to identify trends, best practices, and areas for improvement across marketing activities.
• Support governance by reviewing locally created email campaigns and performance dashboards.
Subject Matter Expertise
• Deploy and support standard marketing projects while assisting with non-standard campaigns as needed.
• Act as a subject matter expert and ambassador for global commercial marketing tools and services.
• Educate stakeholders on modern marketing services and tool capabilities, attending regular training sessions and meet-ups to stay updated.
• Offer discipline-specific expertise for campaign planning and execution.
What you’ll need:
• Experience: Minimum of 1+ years in B2B event execution and client-facing project/account management roles.
• Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple events and activities simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet critical deadlines.
• Compliance: Strong understanding of compliance with company rules, including personal data protection and brand guidelines.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) and experience with marketing tools such as Marketo.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a structured, professional manner.
• Stakeholder Management: Comfortable working with senior clients and third-party stakeholders; skilled in building relationships with culturally diverse partners.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving orientation with an eye for detail.
• Teamwork: A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Language: Fluency in English is essential.
