Job Title: Project Engineer (Windows & Microsoft Cloud)
Type: Full-Time (Independent Contractor)
Location: Remote
Working Hours: US business hours with overlap required
Compensation: $2,000 - $3,500/month salary based on experience)
About the Role
We’re looking for a highly capable Project Engineer with a strong foundation in Windows infrastructure and Microsoft cloud technologies. This role is ideal for someone who can step in with minimal ramp-up, support project implementations, and work closely with clients in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
• Support and execute projects involving Windows Server and virtualization (Hyper-V)
• Administer and maintain Microsoft cloud environments (Azure, Entra ID, M365, Intune)
• Manage and support collaboration tools including SharePoint and Teams
• Assist in system migrations, deployments, and upgrades
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and cloud-related issues across environments
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to ensure smooth project delivery
• Document processes, configurations, and technical solutions
Required Skills
• 3–5+ years of experience in system administration and/or cloud engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with:
• Windows Server & Hyper-V
• Microsoft Azure & Entra ID
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)
• Intune (device and policy management)
• Experience supporting or delivering technical projects end-to-end
• Client-facing or stakeholder communication experience is a strong plus
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent English communication (written and verbal)
Nice to Have
• Microsoft certifications (Azure, M365, etc.)
• Experience in MSP or consulting environments
• Exposure to security best practices within Microsoft ecosystems
